The Challenge

Austindo Consulting Services is a Hunter Valley-based electric drive truck specialist serving the mining industry across Australia and internationally. They supply, service and rebuild electric drive components for mining haul trucks -- and with thousands of heavy machinery parts in their range, customers needed a fast, reliable way to find what they're looking for without calling in every time.

What We Built

A searchable mining equipment parts database embedded on the Austindo website, giving customers direct access to their full parts catalogue. Users can look up components by keyword, part number or description using intelligent fuzzy search -- so even partial or approximate searches return the right results. Each parts listing shows key details like specifications, downloadable technical resources and current stock levels.

For mining operations where equipment downtime costs serious money, being able to check part availability and specs without waiting for a phone call or email response makes a real difference. Whether it's a field service technician checking compatibility on-site or a procurement officer sourcing replacement components for a haul truck fleet, the mining parts database gives them what they need immediately.

Part of a Bigger System

The parts database connects into a broader custom software suite built for Austindo's mining services business, including a B2B quote request tool, QR code component service history tracking, and a haul truck event data charting tool. Together they form a resource centre that supports Austindo's customers and internal operations across their mining operations.
