The Project
Lions Australia -- the national body -- needed a reliable Laravel development partner to take over their multi-site CMS platform after the original developers became difficult to work with. The platform powers over 1,000 individual Lions Club websites from a single Laravel codebase, with each club managing their own content independently through a self-service content management system.
What We Did
The first priority after taking over was getting the development process right. We set up a zero-downtime deployment workflow so platform updates go live without taking any of the 1,000+ club websites offline. We also established a dedicated testing environment to trial and preview every update before it affects thousands of users -- and a proper local development setup for building and testing new features safely.
With that foundation in place, updating the multi-site platform became faster and more predictable. What followed was a series of feature updates that clubs had been requesting -- delivered with much clearer communication than they'd had before.
The Scale

Every Lions Club gets their own site they can manage themselves, but the underlying multi-tenant CMS architecture handles shared infrastructure, updates and security in one place.
